13 Costumes of Halloweens Past -Thursday 13 #4

I am actually not sure I can remember every one, since I dressed up as the same thing a few years in a row. I will try. I may have to make some up so you think I am cool.

Disclaimer: We were poor when I was growing up, so a lot of these are throw together things. I only once remember my mom BUYING me a costume...see #1 for that one.

1. Strawberry Shortcake. This is the earliest costume I can remember. Complete with plastic mask and plastic pullover jumpsuit thingy. Freakin' adorable.
2. A baby. I was a baby all the time, so dressing up as one for many years in a row was not too far in left field. As long as we are being honest, I still AM a baby.
3. A bum. I lived in Santa Cruz, CA. I fit in quite well.
4. A ghost. Oooooh, scary. Look at that scary person with a sheet over their body and jagged circles cut out for eyes!!
5. A Pack of Wrigley's Spearmint Gum. Back when the pack was 25 cents, so I had 25¢ stamped across the top of my body. Uh huh, that was fun for a freshman girl.
6. A cave girl. It wasn't cute, At all.
7. A football player. 7th grade. I borrowed a boy's jersey, he borrowed my cheerleading outfit. It was fun walking around with a helmet on and banging my head into poles and such.
8. A nerd. I know what you are thinking. I DID have a hard time finding all the things I needed for this outfit. Never did find a pocket protector.
9. A boy. What? I just wanted to pee standing up. They have it SO easy.
10. A china girl. I think there is a picture of me in this. It may have been a dance recital, and nt Halloween, but I was still dressed up. I only took dance for like, a year. I am not known for my coordination style.
11. A clown. It was last minute so I threw on my mom's lame arse clown suit. SO original.
12. A cheerleader. My sister was a cheerleader, so I wore her outfit. Oh, joy.
13. A spider. This one was super cool, actually. I wish my mom still had it. I would SO wear it again.

I can't even remember 13 costumes, so you're doing great! I do know that in the 2nd grade I was Blueberry Muffin, so since you were Strawberry Shortcake, we were destined to be BFFs!!!!!! I'm the side kick, I'm the sidekick!

Oooh, what a fun TT!! I've been witch, angel (so uncreative, but okay), motorcycle rider, french maid, GI Joe or more likely Indiana Jones, and Snow White! LOL.

Hi! What's Cecily doin' here? "Cecily, are you following me?" Actually, I'm following YOU. (stalk, stalk)

Thanks for visiting my blog, Kelly! I totally wish you had photos to show us of each of these costumes. Sigh. I'd love to see you as a spider.

I remembered another costume. I was a three headed monster with two of my friends in the 6th grade. I was in the middle and the other two were in a fight that night. It was the last time I went trick or treating.

Oh, and by the way, I tagged you. Write a post listing seven random things about you and then tag seven people to do the same thing.

Have fun!
