Yeah, I'll have the Chicken Pox to go, please...

Sounds weird, huh? Yeah, everyone I tell thinks I am a little bit loopy (which is debatable). I went to someone's house today that I have never met because I want my kids to get the chicken pox. Her kids have them. If nothing else, the kids had a fantabulous time playing together. I figure, I would much rather them get it now rather than when they are older. So, yeah, there's my story. Take me off your blogroll if you think I am a major freak, or embrace my freakishness. Whatever. You know you love me.

I'm all about getting the Chicken Pox while they're little! Way less painful than when they're older, plus I'm not exactly sure that the vaccine really does the job.

We've had the vaccine here. I PRAY my kids don't get it simply because I HATE my scars! I didn't get it till I was 13 and it was HORRID. In my mouth, up my nose...no fun at all.

wow! i had people ask to come over for that once. i dind't really know them, they didn't end up coming but i was fine with sharing. my kids have been vaccinated and some of them have still had them, light cases. and one kid more than once. ridiculous. way to go getting it over with. wanna know a secret? i had a chicken pox scab on my head for years that i picked for fun . and black curly hair comes out of it. at the top of my head, under my hair. yeah COOL HUH? i swear i was 5 when i had it and the scab lasted til high school. gross but rad all at the same time.

I had chicken pox when I was in third grade. A really BAD case. My kids have had the vaccine, and I'm sure they'll have to get a booster. Don't want to get it as an adult. I wish they had a strep vaccine! You're too funny! I'll embrace your "freakishness" if you'll embrace mine! LOL

My mom totally did this when I was a kid! But my kids had the vaccine so no worries for me.
