Back when I was a Kid...

We went to Taco Bell Yesterday. We were just going for a quick snack, so I told everyone to just get one item. We sat down and I started talking to Zac, my husband. I said, "When I was in High School, we came here every day. I always got three bean burritos and a water for $2.00. They were only 59¢ each! Now, they are what? 99¢??" Then my 12 year old says, "Man, I wish I could go back and live in the OLDEN DAYS, too!" This really stinks...I guess I am getting old.

"Oh my gosh!!!" I remember we used to say that to our parents. It funny how kid persieve things and times differently then we do. I know how you feel though, "ARE WE GETTING THAT OLD??? "GOD HELP US!!!!!!!"

First of all, I am really really craving Taco Bell now. Crappity!

Secondly, Isaac has taken to asking me how much stuff costed when I was young and making snarky comments like that. Stinker pants.

Thirdly, I refuse to be old. In my head I am still 24, and when I just have Evie I pretend that no one automatically assumes that my older kids are at home with a sitter. :)

The OLDEN DAYS???? Ok. I'm pretty sure you're younger than me, so I lived in caveman times. Crap!

And thanks a lot for making me crave Taco Bell. Yo quiero!

Well, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, we would take a break at Arctic Circle and have dinner (19-cent hamburger and nickel drink) for a quarter, including the 1-cent sales tax. And - it was enough. Never left a quarter dinner at AC wanting more. Now - THOSE were the good old days. ;D

lol! i remember those old taco bell ads from high school- "59, 79, 99"- now i guess it would be "99, 1.19, 1.39"- doesn't quite have the same ring!
