All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...or something along those lines

My Nolan Bug (I dare not call him that in public, he's a NINJA for heaven's sake) realized on Wednesday that he had a loose tooth. He was so excited. I told him it would be a week or so before it became loose enough to pull out. Then we saw a friend of his and his friend mentioned that his tooth has been loose for a MONTH! A MONTH! Oh,no...anyone who knows Nolan knows how determined this child is. He had waited FOREVER for a tooth to become loose, and he was not about to wait a whole nother week!! So, on Thursday, he was wiggling that sucker all day long, telling anyone who came within 5 feet of him how loose it was. He was PROUD. All day Friday, he was wiggling that tooth. Friday night, we were in the car and he says, "Hey mom? You think if I twist my tooth it will become looser and come out?" I said, "I don't know, buddy, you can try." He tried. "It really hurts mom, but I think I will twist it just one more time to see." ...................................................................................
......................................................."Hey mom!!!! It's OUT! It's out!!" I don't think I have ever seen this boy so proud.

Did I mention he was a ninja??

Don't even ask how I got out of the whole, "Hey MOM?? I think the tooth fairy forgot to come" the next morning. Oops...

He is cute without his tooth. Its not so cute when all the teeth fall out and some start coming back in but not at the same time so they look like Snaggle tooth

Oh, the Tooth Fairy has TOTALLY forgotten to come at our house, too! Don't you hate that? What DID you say? I said, "You were probably awake too late & she skipped you until tomorrow, if you go to sleep on time."

Yep. I'll be paying for their therapy in approximately 10 years.

I'm going to link you on my sidebar--is that ok? That way, I'll remember to check your blog often! :)

Only a true ninja could wiggle their loose tooth until it came out. It's funny how as kids we are proud of loose teeth, but as adults we dread them with a vengeance.

By the way, since you voted in my recent "Breakfast Club" poll, I tried to contact you at kelodo75@aol.com and kellyo75@aol.com to let you know that the results are posted. Unfortunately, the emails bounced back.

Below is the link to the post that includes the results and video footage of the winner. Thanks for taking part!

The tooth fairy blew Isaac off for a whole week once. He just kept leaving that tooth and I kept forgetting. THAT'S when it dawned on him that it had to be his scatter brained mother behind it all. I've ruined his youth.

What an awesome thing to have a ninja in your family! We had one too for a while that dressed suspiciously the same only in gold. I swear he wore that costume so many days in a row that it stood up in the corner by itself when I finally got him to take it off.

By the way, love the new profile picture!

LOL! This is SOOOOOO hilarious, because this EXACT story happened in our home this weekend. (I will post her pic for WW, I think)
My daughter FINALLY lost her top tooth. The VERY next day, her OTHER top tooth came out.

And wouldn't you know, the tooth fairy has ADD. She didn't come the second night. Whoops.
